Procrastination

My spell check isn't working so I don't even know if I spelled it right. Anyways, I procrastinate too fucking much. It's unbelievable. I have so much homework due tomorrow, and I work on it for like 5 minutes then I play guitar for 30 minutes, watch tv, and do everything except my homework.

I fail at life right now.



I also have to do a 45-60 minute presentation next week and I have no idea how I'm going to do it. I can only talk about something for that long if I have a passion for it, but I'm not passionate about politics, specially the specific part I have to do. I'm probably going to pass out. It's weird though cause I don't get nervous if I play music in front of hundreds of strangers (battle of the bands 2006), but I do if I have to do a shitty presentation in front of 30 strangers and a teacher who has killed people before and has that "I was in the military and watched people die" face.

Anyways this wasn't supposed to be so freaking long but then I just started ranting. On a side note, my friends might visit me this weekend. Hopefully we have lots of fun. That also means that I have less time to practice for my presentation though.

I had to do a presentation two weeks ago in front of everyone too. I threw in some jokes and it turned out to be fun. I was nervous at first though. I spend 4 hours a day on projects and end up with free time because I finish them early. I use to procrastinate years ago but I have learned not to and it has become easier now to get large amounts of work done. That pic made me laugh hard btw.

I know how you feel. I have homework sometimes, but its just like, meh. I find ways to cheat in class by writing down the answers and such. Today I cheated my quiz and got an A, but its not my fault because the stupid teacher lets us correct our own papers and we tell her what we got on the quiz =)

Haha I wish I was like that. I used to be more organized but it all stopped when I started living by myself in high school.

Anyways, I got home from school at 12:30pm. It's 8:20 now and I haven't done my homework. I have to do a movie review and all I've done is watch the movie, twice. :P Lol. Maybe I'm freaking out too much. I can't wait till the presentation is over, my entire semester will be a breeze after that.

Me too. I've even told my mom and she doesn't take me seriously. But how is it possible to sit in front of the classroom, be looking straight into the teacher's eyes and NOT be paying attention? Answer? Attention fucking deficit disorder.

I actually do have ADHD, it's not that hard to deal with, but I procrastinated really bad for my first semester of school, especially since my weekend starts on Thursday... so now I give myself rules, like I have to get all of my homework done before I go out on Thursday.

I basically had to do that, I'd always worry about my homework untill Sunday, but then I was too lazy and tired from the weekend to put any real effort towards it. Now my work is looking better and I'm doing better on tests. Good luck sergio <3

On the serious note, I'm just like you...I'm in year 11 now, and in all previous years, i just put off assignments until the weekend they were due. This year, I REALLY want to try hard, and prove to people that I'm not a complete dumb ass (I get ripped off about it constantly). I guess you just have to have a purpose to do it all, and then even the worst tasks become a little easier. Try and think of something that means a lot to you, relate it to school, and then see if it becomes easier doing your homework then.

Definitely makes sense. I am always thinking of a future job I'd want, so I always try hard in school because I know how well my portfolio work from my art college is will help me get it.

i procrastinate so much. to the point i don't do my homework.
i've been in gifted classes all my life and i scored the like 100 in math on my entrance exams and 100 in sceince. i've always been a little above everyone. I was in a combo class as a freshmen learning honors algebra1/honors geometry. and all my classes were honors. now that 2nd semester has rolled around i have dropped out of my combo class and a few of my honors classes.. all because i haven't done my homework i have like an 89 gpa and my mom raves all the time about how my grades need to be higher. A lot of it has to deal with out-of-school drama, but it all comes down to the motivation to do your work i really want to go to med school but with the way things are going right now i'll end up with a degree in communications working at a call center =(

If your really luck like me, You will proberbly be okay.
Because your sence of humor is really whitty, Therefore i suppose you can come up with things to say on the spot.
I mean i never revise because i allways get distracted...I mean i have like 3000 free texts a month and i aim to use them all so i never get any of my coursework done. And it doesnt help i have ADD, ( but i have pills for that ) I didnt revise once for my geogrophy but i got an A and everyone else in the class failed :|. Even the really cleaver kids.

I am sure that if you act as if you know what your doing your mind will just think of the things to say.

well im hopefully getting over my procrastination today after school i completely reorganized my locker and actually brought home late work to do tonight. im hoping to get my grades up cause im coming to the realization that if i want to get a good job i better do well in highschool or else i'll be saying. And I'm kinda mad at my former group member. She bailed on us today and the presentation is on Thursday. Now it's just me and some guy. I remember she said "I'd rather let myself down than my team down" - well guess what? She let everyone down including herself. My teacher had no sympathy for us, nor did I want any. I'm just staying positive and as much as I wanted to tell my group member "dude this blows" I said "We can still do it" with a very determined face.

I need to do my english course work. I need to write it up all in neat then finish of my phyco homework but seen as though i havnt seen the film cause i was on holiday when the class watcheed it i have no idea what its about or anything.
So i dont know how she expects me to do it.
And my oliver coursework should have been in before christmas but i just cant be botherd to write it up.
I did like to pages of it last night then decided to draw all over my acustic guitar which looks REALLY awsome btw. There is like a mic at the bottem of it and i drew the lead all around the back of the guitar and the jack bit at the top of the guitar (Y)

well here i am agian it's 10 O' Clock and i have a HUGE 3 page paper due tomorrow. i have done no reserach. what im writing this on is very vague. im totally screwed and i probably wont get much sleep tonight. but i have to start doing my work sooner or else im not going to be in a situation i want to be when im looking for colleges

and now it's 12:45 im almost done. but i could been done much earlier. owell i slept from 7-8:30 so i could stay up later =P
