Whats the news here? Are they planning a new album??

Yah, they said in their toazted interview that they made 37 sings for this album and will use their other ones and better them for the nxt album, but don't know whn.
I'm really confusd. Why aren't they making more singles? I mean there are so much mainstream pontential wh so many of their songs, I really don't get it.

the only time i cared about +44 is when i heard the no it isn't demo. But they even found a way to ruin that good song on the album version. I pretty much wanted to go to one of their shows just to say i've seen all the members of blink 182 live. I guess i will check out their next album, and hopefully mark will stop whining about tom a little more.

I like Plus 44, it was great seeing Mark live. I thought Baby Come On was going to have a video but I never saw anything come from it. I hope their next album is a bit more upbeat though and not so obviously aimed at Tom with certain songs. And I agree, I thought there would have been at least two more singles off of the album, its surprised me that WYHSB was the only song that really got any attention.

^Not a ridiculously large amount, but enough that people are farmiliar with the song...WYHSB got no more attention than AVA did

but I like +44 and I'm glad I got to see them live,

I don't know when we'll hear anything new from them though because Mark is working on Socratic's new album at the moment..so probably after that..?

There was a rumor that they broke up, but Craig confirmed it fake. They also just canceled their European tour. So basically, they're not recording, and they're not playing shows. Maybe just a little burned out.

i heard mark needed a six month hiatus.

this is what he just posted yesterday on himynameismark.com...

"back to +44, we’re all really bummed that we can’t go to europe for the festivals and shows over there this summer. we were all looking forward to the tour. we’ll be back soon."

+44 are doing almost everything the same as AvA, only months behind. They both did a small club headlining tour, then they both did a summer tour being the opening band. AvA did another headlining tour, which +44 didn't copy... But now they're both recording new albums so soon after the last one.

I love 30 STM! Especially Attack and R-Evolve. I only have the beautiful lie CD though.

Is +44 any good? I've heard No It Isn't when it first came out and I didn't like how negative it was. I heard the CD once but wasn't really listening. Is it worth giving them another try? My friend has been trying to convince me to listen to them. I'm just so hesitant...

+44 is good. Not the best band, but they're good. Their music is catchy and fun. I like them loads.

Their guitars sound not so good live. I think they're too loud. Its unplesent. But Mark's bass sounds real good on both the record and live.

I thought Mark's bass sounded like shit. It was way too loud and buzzy, and I think he should play less chords. His obnoxious bass drowns out the guitars.

I really liked +44 live, they put on a good show. Mark was funny and very entertaining to watch...although him and Tom together is definitly better. I liked them live.

I think it's retarded to cancel shows that kids have had tickets for for a long time to start recording a new album. They can just wait until after the shows.

that's just funny then. since they have their own studio, it isn't like it was a pre-booked thing or anything. i'm sure they could have written songs while over there. the whole thing sounds suspicious to me. they couldn't get away from the studio for a week or so to play shows they already committed to?

i already called that they're going to on a "Indefinite Hiatus" or pull a blink, well its almost the whole thing (i know the fucking story so no one try to correct me, and act like a know it all :twisted: ) and now here come the jokes watch lol

You are 100% correct on that one.

Its really obvious why they have two guitarist too.. because when Carol was the guitar player for them it was a three person band and since she was a girl, it was different than blink. But when she left and they got Shane, it was too similar to blink. It would seem like they were just trying to re-create blink. So they added Craig to make it a four member band. Which made them sound odd live with thoes high pitched uneeded two guitars blasting. I am really glas at least one song with Carol made it on the album, she has a great singing voice.

i agree with that. it would have been a way more diverse record, and i would have probably liked it a lot more.
