i hate it, but i think your right about the avril lavigne thing she tried to cover them to much and they put hteir own "flare" or w/e into the song

i don't think he messed them up. i think he changed them with creative license.

The show he was on had him chose the song from a list of songs to cover. The show was Hit Me Baby one More Time, I think it got cancelled.
