my computer is being overrun by Limewire. i don't know why, but i can't open itunes and when i try to it opens Limewire. it's pissing me off!!!

That is why, I have never downloaded Limewire. Just use Google. It's just as easier and safer to download music from there.

I had it once, when I didn't know what it was....
When found out I tried uninstalling it...
That worked, sorta. Limewire puts itself in you firewall and all these other random places so its hard as hell to delete. took me about an hour to delete the trace of limwire.

i've never had trouble with limewire.. well, exept when you download some .Rars' it seems to open like 1000000 different things, and i had to delete it and reinstall comp, but it's all good.

limewire is a piece of shit. Best to just stay away from it alltogether. The same thing happened to me about 3 months ago and almost destroyed my computer.

I have had limewire for over a year and has done nothing to my computer at all :|

I buy c.ds but only if i know i want them.
I have all of the blink/boxcar/plus/ava c.ds and many many more. I just dont have alota money to waste buying c.ds i dont want.
Though my friends dad has over a million c.ds and thousands of recoreds.
I like going to there house :)

Try using a system restoration. Go to Start, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, and restore it to a time you remember your computer was working.

No, the only thing you'd lose are programs you downloaded after the restoration point you pick. You won't lose files, like music or anything. Can you give me a specific example of what you want to keep so I can make sure you will keep it?

this all started when i tried to download a recording program hobbit recommended.
it dl'd really quick i noticed that and tried to stop it but it was too late.
the thing is still popping up.
i even reset my computer. fucking hell..

i tried to undo the restore cause it was still there and my World of Warcraft wouldn't download the patch.
now it still doesn't work.

songbird FTW! I d/led it today and i love it. It's really easy to use. Except for the fact that it took me 4 tries for me to install it right, bc the things they suggested me to dl wouldn't dl right and it froze, and i had to keep uninstalling it and reinstalling it until i finally got it to work.

If your computer is still broke just blame it on your brother or sister? if you have any that is...
And when i want music and i cba to use limewire i either just ask a friend to do it for me or just go on google and type in the album i want and download it of that.
