Kisses Indicate

I can leave the place where time stops
Just outside reality
I can leave the place where time stops
Material paradise vanishes

Censored screams whispered
They're spectacular with the vernacular of confusion
Kisses indicate the illusion
There's correlations between your lacerations

Watch the sunrise
And fall asleep in your arms
Coffee kisses at sunset
And wake me from my dreams

Dead Friendships

I see the cloud that hangs over our friendship
Funny cause I hung it there
Raining down thoughts of insecurity
Washing away what we had

So lie in my graveyard of dead friendships
Murdered by my desire for romance

Cause once it dies you can never get it back

I feel the fire that burns in our minds
Funny cause I lit it there
Burning with flames of insecurity

Dragon Fire Kisses

You re-hydrate my heart
And give me a soul inside
All I ever want is your love

I can look into your eyes
And gaze into a mystical paradise
All I ever want is your love

With lips like the smooth ocean current
Pulling my loneliness out to sea
With kisses like a dragon's fire
Burning away all my depression

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read the first few poems I posted here. These are six more of my poems. I hope all is well.

1) Only in Dreams

We had breakfast in bed
And then rode a shooting star to the top of the rainbow
I sang of our love with a chorus of angels

We had dinner in a field of roses
And then rode a shooting star to the moon
Watching the sunset-
I sang of our love with a chorus of angels

However, when the sun finished its descent-
You shed a tear
Telling me that…

Only in dreams could we kiss
And only in dreams could I feel the warmth of your love
Only in dreams…

I awoke in a cold sweat of freezing tears

2) Depression Banished

From my mentality-
Demons are banished
And suicide has vanished

Depression exorcised
Cause you love me
My mentality rests in a field of roses

From my mentality-
Flames are extinguished
And misery is extinct

Depression exorcised
Cause you love me
My mentality rests in a field of roses

Depression banished-

3) Outshine Aphrodite

So confident in our love-
I'd swim with the sharks
After bathing in the blood of your heart

So trusting in you-
I give you my soul
To have and to hold

It's good that some goddesses die
Cause Aphrodite would've been jealous of your beauty

It's a blessing that angels are born
Cause I couldn't breathe without you

If I was ever stripped of my wings
It was only so I couldn't fly away
Before you kissed my heart

Before you pressed those wet strawberry lips
Against my heart

4) Sweet Sweet Soulmates

Everyday, my love for you grows
Filling my heart, till it overflows

Crystal blue eyes
And strawberry lips
Velvet white skin
And beautiful hips

With kisses so deep
And caresses so sweet
I slide into serenity
And find paradise
When we make love

So from the depths of my soul
To the heights of my heart
I promise you darling
We'll never part

Because we're soulmates
Sweet sweet soulmates

5) Fading into Perception

I see the beauty in the sea snakes
So why am I still miserable
I guess that we don't fit

I hear you speaking in the spotlight
I start to slip away
And hear the voices say

Brand the scarlet letter on my chest
Hang the albatross around my neck

I find value in the forgotten
So why am I still broke
I guess that we don't fit

Don't let yourself fade away

6) Frostbitten Sunsets

Been paralyzed in a disguise
That slashes my mentality
And makes suicide a reality
Depressed, haunted, and constricted
As my sanity's twisted
Frostbitten sunsets you insisted
Persisted we'd find paradise
Poisonous promises-
I was falsely serenaded till I was jaded
Then despair invaded
Incarnate
Venomous devils
Caused my hallucinating dreams
And excruciating screams
Then left me trapped in existence
By depression's persistence
