Hey I'm new here so whats up.
I just thought I'd share what I think AVA should do for the new album. It would be cool if they made a special edition where the first disc is the album and the 2nd disc is the album but with the acoustic versions I heard they are making. Also I think the album cover should be a hollographic or something so it will say "AVA" when you look at it at one angle and "I-EMPIRE" when looked at another angle. I kinda hope they keep the space theme for the cover and booklet. And one more thing that I think everyone can agree with is...MORE THAN 10 SONGS! At least 12 or something. I wouldn't mind over an hour of AVA on one album. Well those are just some ideas I had running around in my head.
p.s. does anyone know when the hell the AVA movie is coming out?!

those are some cool ideas. although i don't know exactly what you mean by the hollographic idea, but it sounds cool anyway. :D
oh, and no one knows when the movie is coming out...sorry.
p.s. welcome to the forum
Welcome (aAVAa)
Thoes are some good ideas which I can see AVA doing in the future as maybe a special re-release of of Empire with bonus acoustic tracks and a special cover. But hopefully we will get some extras with its first release.

i think he means that kind picture where you tilt it one direction, you see "AVA" and when you tilt it the opposite direction, you see "I-Empire"

i dont really like the holographic idea honestly, cause that would be too confusing and a lot of money to make as well. and theres always Punk Goes Acoustic, so there really is no need for AVA to record acoustic, or Odi. =)

I know what he's talking about. I don't like covers like that whether it be on DVDs or CDs. I am just a sucker for the simpler things.
I think they should release somthing cool with the album. Like a guitar pick, a dvd, a sticker, something.

I have two guitar picks Ryan used at two AVA shows. And an AVA sticker from one.
I would really love to see a DVD documentary of the making of both albums and see the different process between them and also the interactions between Ryan and the band behind closed doors. But it would be edited probly to only show the good moments and what not. Still would be great.

the movie is not going to just come out of thin air, their going to announce it first, and i think it's more of a doctumentry if anything,

Those are good ideas. I like 'em. Tom said the movie would come out in one form or another eventually. The art director said the movie had been finished shooting for a while. The CGI is probably taking a heck of a long time. I can't wait to see it when it comes out.

I actually knew what hollographic meant, thanks to Pokemon  ,
but I don't really want AvA's album cover to look like that, I don't know, I just never liked the look of it..
A normal album cover would be perfectly fine with me.

ohh that's be so cool! I hope they do that, although they probably won't.

If they did, it may end up being dubbed or certain parts re-done. I have noticed many times over the years dating back to TOYPAJ days, that certain blink and AVA performances which are shown either on TV, CD (MTTS), or DVD aren't fully live. They add some serious touch ups which I wish they wouldn't. I know they want to be presented at their "best" but it takes away the point of it being live.

Ya all depends on what they wanna do since there is 2 films. The doc would make sense to be released with the album and then the feature film as he wants to put it in theaters mind you it would be a limited release but still. I personally don't think any video will come with the album but who knows.
One cool thing would be since they have shot the doc continually through the short life of the band thus far, hopefully we will get some more inner workings on the Ryan departure/firing lol.

there's so much money going on the movies (CG aint cheap) but it's unfortunate it wont be packaged with any albums. I'd definitely like to see a dvd release seperately though - a mega set of the film, a live show and lots of behind the scenes stuff.
so many artists are taking advantage of the 'bonus dvd disc' in their deluxe sets, [most are rubbish though] so it's nice to see Tom shooting higher - but too high to be free.
anyone think the ava movie will get shown in the UK? outside of London?

From what I understand, it will no longer be in the theaters as originally planned (since Tom always thinks BIG!), but a stright to DVD release. And possibly only available to order online. Perhaps Tom will rent out a small theater here in San Diego which indie directors use and he will show it for local AVA fans. It still may be a ways away though till we get any big news regarding the films release.
