Well Tom LOVES London and England as a whole. So does Mark and Travis. They've all mentioned back in Blink and seperately now how much they love England and the UK. Tom dresses and acts like he's from England (his voice sounds like what would happen if an englishman with an accent moved at age 10 to San diego or vice versa). (+44)? the dialing code for London or whatev. So Tom wants to give a little more love to them apparently.

i'm a UK guy and while i enjoy some bands giving the europeans something else, whenever we dont get stuff like that i just import from amazon.com and pay the silly delivery fees. its all part of the collection :o)

i know in the past we used to get special edition Cds (labelled 'tour editions') much later in the Uk when bands got big and so the later press meant we got b-sides, but i don't understand the difference now that most Cds go on sale internationally on the same day.

Its has nothing to do with Tom liking the UK more. Most bands release bonus tracks for other countries. Its because the music industry in America moves alot faster than other countries, more singles are released and so B-sides are released as bonus tracks so that foreign markets don't miss out. Alternate takes are often released as bonus tracks. Thats just the way it is, it dosn't matter what the band prefers, its up to the record lable in order to gain profits over seas.
