View Full Version : I dislocated my collarbone

I dislocated my collar bone, not that I knew it was possible, I mean, you can dislocate your shoulder or break your collar bone but apparently you don't need to read the book for sometnihg to happen to you :roll: now I'm stuck with a weird figure 8 brace or something for 10 days, which MIGHT fix it..................the surgeon didn't look too confident about it :?

Thats the awesome thing about it, I've got no idea, it just got dislocated, when the surgeon asked me how it happened and I told him I don't know, he was just starring at me........ :? I don't think this is a too common type of injury :(

it just started to hurt in a weird way, I raised my arm and it poped out :? , It pops right in if I lower the arm again , but raising the arm is very unconfortable.

You could have just moved it weird or maybe had to reach for something and dislocated it. Actually I think its not too rare of an injury.

Its annoying the hell out of me, and it still hurts, though the strap thingy is more annoying than the pain........................



I like the picture though.........oh well, i think its stupid, I always hurt myself at the stupiest times, I never broke anything while snowboarding and believe me, I land in the snow very hard alot of the time, now I dislocated a joint while doing absolutely nothing :?

How good is your football team? My high school, (though I'm not on the team) is on it's way to the playoffs. our freshman class is expected to take state junor/senior years, and we went undefeated in the league (my freshman team) but we loost that game to a school far away and they were pretty good, we have a kid who plays for notre dame... brian smith? ithink?? i unno but he had an interception for a touchdown a week or two ago

yeah we pretty much dominate...end of story...this kid from our grade is already playing varsity and another kid has backed up QB. as for me...i am the defense on our team. And the varsity team is good. we have a WR that is commited to Nebraska, Kyler Reed. google that shit. and yeah hopefully they will go deep in the playoffs. and our group of guys is expected to win state....so yeah no pressure there. but we will get the job done.
