Toms Angels Community Forum Rules
The Toms Angels forums have grown tremendously over the past years and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact a TA Staff Member (http://tomsangels.com/forum/showthread.php?4652-Toms-Angels-Staff).
General Rules
While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Racial slurs and homophobic language should never be used and we should be respectful of one another. We reserve the right to edit or remove offensive posts without notice.
Our decision is final in these matters.
Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is also not allowed.
As best possible, posts should be made in the appropriate categories and the search function is there to help. Please do not bump excessively old posts unless there is something of importance to add to an old thread.
We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate Toms Angels community standards. The Toms Angels shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. Under no circumstances should any content from any copyrighted site, such as Modlife.com, be reposted here. Do not post blogs, images, videos, trailers, or any other material from that site on here.
Conversations posted in public forums should be of a public and inclusive nature and not a personal dialog between two members. If you're not adding to the original topic of the thread and just are telling one specific member something that is not intended to add to the discussion, take it off of the forum to a private message or post it on that member's visitor page.
Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about other fan sites, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other boards.
If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.
Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to Toms Angels forums are a privilege and not a right.
Signature Rules
Signatures are to be no more than 500x200 pixels in size as the template below shows and should contain no more than one image unless the user wishes to display an official Toms Angels Award in their signature.
Toms Angels reserves the right to remove any offensive, pornographic, or obscene images as well as any images that cause excessive burdens to the site load times including animated signatures.
Avatars are to be no larger than 100x100 pixels wide and should not be such a large file size as to adversely affect the load times of the forum.
Advertising Services and Solicitation
We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.
You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral.
Such posts will be subject to removal.
Links to personal websites, blogs, myspaces, and band webpages are fine. Commercial links or other fan pages etc. are not. If you are not sure if a link is acceptable, pm devil or send an email to admin@tomsangels.com.
Moderation
Although the administrators and moderators of Toms Angels Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners of Toms Angels will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of Toms Angels Community Forum reserve the right to edit, close or remove any thread for any reason.
Staff Disputes
Any disputes with the staff of the Toms Angels Community Forums will be handled in private through the Private Message System or via email. If you wish to escalate any issue with staff then please pm an admin or email admin@tomsangels.com
