Things have gotten pretty crazy in my personal life lately and when that happens, I tend to notice that things become pretty crazy around these parts.
In addition to working full time, I am married with a baby on the way, and a full time college student. Things can get pretty hectic in my life so sometimes I have to prioritize things and usually that means taking a break from Toms Angels until I have enough time to devote to it.
Usually, things work out a little better when I take a break from the site as I normally have enough support staff and things in place to let things work out on their own. However, this time, I had just put on some new staff members and never gave them the proper training or tools to do their job. The other admins have become busy with their own lives and there was really no one to maintain order around here. To make things worse, when I became too busy to devote much time on here, I had just done a forum upgrade that ruined the layout and the forum has been using this current layout that was never intended to be more than a few day temporary solution. To make matters worse, when the forum was updated, the shoutbox was almost completely ruined.
So, how are we going to get Toms Angels back on track and getting things moving again? Well, I am going to need support from the TA Staff and members as I am going to be putting a major effort on the technical and design sides of things.
For the staff, please keep the news updated and help remind members of the rules. It is very important to keep the site running smoothly and professionally by following all of the site's rules - they are there for a reason. When the rules are followed, the site is neater, cleaner, and more efficient for everyone - regulars and new members alike.
For members, please be courteous to each other and obey the rules of this forum (http://tomsangels.com/forum/showthread.php?4656-The-Rules-of-Toms-Angels). I know the enforcement of the rules has been lax in my absence but this absolutely must change for the site to grow and flourish. Please be respectful to the staff and listen to them if they ask you to do something - it is for everyone's good so please try not to be selfish and make an honest effort to understand where we are coming from.
So, what is happening around here now?
Well, I am working on the new layout that I told all of you about months ago - yes I was serious about it and not just pretending to be on painkillers. When this layout launches, you will be glad you waited for it - it is absolutely the most beautiful TA layout you've ever seen.
I'm making some staffing changes and have hired Prez to help manage the forum and keep the rules enforced.
Chuck is still handling the news and AmandaIsACult is still our PR Manager.

Sergio and Madie will still be admins of the site in a role similar to the board of directors at a large corporation. They mostly work out the big issues and the direction of the site with myself.
If you have any questions, please post them here so the staff and I can give you a quick response.
