How in the hell do you use photohsop?!?!? i downloaded it and ive been messing around with it but i have no idea how to use it. like i wanted to use it to try and make sigs and stuff and mess around with photos but i have no idea how. any help would be appreciated. thanks
It all works around layers. Each layer you ad a new element to whatever pic your making. Hobbit and Dave seem well into photoshop, they may offer some advise.

Yeah photoshops pretty easy once you get used to it.
Like grey said its all about layers.
On the right hand side of the screen you should see a box with differnt layers on it.
If you click the eyes on them it showes or hides which layers you are on.
The tools are pretty much the same as they are in paint.
You have your drawing, lines, text tools
the coolist and best tool that i use is wand.
you like highlight the areas you want then you click CTRL and U and then t comes up with saturation and all them things like that so you can make if differnt coulers and things.
There just the simple bassiscs and if you google Photoshop tool bar it tells you pretty much all you need to know.

Is there a specific thing you'd like to make? I credit all my photoshop knowledge to good-tutorials.com. I was also part of http://www.gfx-depot.com/forum/ and I learned a lot, I think that forum is dead though.

I was planning on using mainly to mess with photos, making sigs, and just like "attempting" to make some cool graphics and stuff. idk stuff like that.
