Ok this is a really bad example, but I just wanted to show everyone how Photoshop CS3 is fucking awesome. Basically you take a few photos by panning on a tripod, and it will put them together.
Just go to file > automate > photomerge.
And like I said I was just testing this, I wasn't really trying to take a good picture (or find a good setting). This technique has a lot of potential though if you find a cool place.

That puts them together very nicely. Can't even tell where one ends and the other begins.

Yeah, some programs put them together but you still have to edit them because the sky or other things look odd. Here I didn't have to do any editing.

That turned out nice. I have done panning a few times in the past back when I actually developed my film in a dark room and had to put them together the old fashioned way. It was harder but worked. This way with photoshop clearly is much easier.
